Congratulations To Attorney Reese Stidham

Congratulations to Attorney Reese Stidham. We are pleased to announce that Reese has graduated from South Carolina Bar’s 2015 Leadership Academy. This highly selective program is designed to equip young lawyers with skills necessary to take positions of leadership within their communities.

The academy also provides networking opportunities, community awareness, and professionalism training to the selected participants. During the course of six months, class members connect with legislators and judges in order to gain insight into ways they can become leaders in the community and learn more about the political process.

About Reese Stidham

Reese M. Stidham, IV currently concentrates his practice in personal injury, criminal defense, and worker’s compensation. Reese received his J.D. in 2006 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College in 2001.

Throughout the local community, Attorney Stidham is known as a lawyer who fights tirelessly for his clients. We have had the pleasure of seeing this attitude first hand on a daily basis. You are a person first to Reese and a client second. He has turned bleak situations into ones of hope for many of his clients. We could not be more thrilled to be able to call Reese a member of the Howell and Christmas family.

Reese has spent years honing his knowledge and gaining experience in various settings. He clerked for the Honorable Doyet A. Early III in the Circuit Court, spent four years as a General Sessions Public Defender, and is currently a member of the South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations. He uses his years of experience and the knowledge he has gained to serve his clients to the best of his ability at every turn. Everything that Reese has learned is put to use in a way that provides his clients with exceptional representation.

Reese has made community service a top priority, serving as President of Lowcountry Helmets for Kids. The non-profit group cooperates with local law enforcement and schools to provide bicycle helmets for children in need. Reese has a soft spot in his heart for children, having two of his own.

We at Howell and Christmas are proud of Reese and all of his accomplishments and are confident the Academy has only served to deepen his understanding of pertinent legal and community issues, enabling him to continue to serve his clients in a way that exceeds expectations. Please join us in congratulating Reese!
