When you spend money on medical equipment, treatment, or medical devices, you should get the cash back that you have paid. Anything you buy over-the-counter at a drugstore, or anything that your doctor prescribes or recommends, should be covered if the medical equipment or device was necessary due to your work-related illness or injury.

Covering Costs

You will need to submit a claim to the workers’ compensation insurer and need to submit documentation and information requesting reimbursement for workers’ compensation out-of-pocket costs. You should:
